Our Story

Time's Tin Cup Vintage Emporium in Denville, New Jersey is an eclectic mix of art, gifts, antiques, artifacts, trinkets and books. Objects hang from the ceiling, unique baskets sit on the floor, and curios fill every space in between.

The shop is a labor of love for me, Laurel Durenberger, and a reflection of everything I cherish about history, beauty and human connection. Its thousands of unique pieces come to me through consignment, estate appraisals and the unexpected buying opportunities that seem to find their way to me. I've always believed that objects carry the energy of the lives they've touched, so it's my joy to help each one find its next "forever home." Whether it's a piece of silver, a delicate vase or a curious little treasure, every item has a story, and I love being part of its next chapter.

The building has a story of its own. This Victorian farmhouse was built in 1900 and has been a home, a beloved toy shop and a salon; now, appropriately, it is an antique shop. It has a warmth I can only describe as spirited, and I want everyone who walks through the door to feel welcome, comfortable and a little bit enchanted. From conversations over the counter to helping someone navigate a lifetime of belongings with care and respect, the shop has become a place of connection as much as commerce, where stories are shared, memories are honored and the past gently meets the present. If you can't visit in person, we invite you to browse some of the lovely and intriguing pieces in our online shop.

Truly, it's all about time and place!
