A cheerful set of six footed porcelain egg cups, each hand-painted with a spirited rooster in the Japanese folk painting tradition. Pastel interiors in pink, mint green, and sky blue — two of each color — give this set its sweet retro charm. The loose, gestural brushwork is full of personality.

Marked with the original “Our Own Import © Japan” foil label, a classic American import designation from the 1950s–60s.
