The imagery is rich with early Celtic symbolism: a central sun spiral representing the life source, uncoiling serpents symbolizing the unconscious, four human faces representing Adam, Eve, Cain and Abel, a standing figure wrestling with opposing forces, Celtic knotwork at the base representing logos and reason, and a circular spiral joining all elements in harmony.
