Set of four hand-painted Stangl Pottery dinner plates in the Garden Flower pattern, approximately 10 inches in diameter. Each plate features a cheerful bouquet of yellow tiger lilies and purple campanula blossoms with dark green foliage, centered on a cream earthenware ground. The wide border is dressed in sky blue lattice with a double dark green band — a signature mid-century Stangl treatment. Made in the USA, Trenton, NJ, circa 1940s–1960s. Light crazing consistent with age; no chips or cracks noted. There’s a slight discoloration on one of the places I’ve tried to show in the photos. A charming set for display or everyday use.
