Beautiful vintage covered copper/brass bowl featuring a raised Art Nouveau-style grape and vine design on the lid. The piece has developed a wonderful naturally aged verdigris patina in shades of green, turquoise, brown and warm copper, giving it a rich old-world appearance.

The decorative lid features dimensional grapes, scrolling vines and flowing leaves surrounding an openwork center. The bowl measures approximately 6 inches in diameter and could be used as a trinket box, jewelry container, decorative covered bowl or display piece.

A faint mark appears to be present on the underside but is no longer clearly legible, so the maker is being listed as unknown.
