This is a large, substantial vintage centerpiece bowl, most likely dating from about the 1960s–1980s, rather than an antique Victorian piece. The combination of an elaborate cast-metal pedestal, white marble plinth and oversized pressed-glass bowl is characteristic of Hollywood Regency / Italian-inspired decorative accessories popular during that period. Comparable examples are commonly described as brass, pressed glass and marble; some similar pieces were made or assembled in Italy, although I would not call yours Italian unless you find a label or mark underneath.

The clear pressed-glass bowl has a dramatic scalloped or crown-style rim with alternating geometric starburst, diamond and fan motifs that catch the light beautifully. It rests on an ornate dark brass-tone/cast-metal pedestal decorated with scrolling foliate designs and raised ornamental details. The pedestal is mounted to a square genuine-looking white marble base with natural veining.

From your photographs, the bowl appears to be approximately 12–13 inches across. The scale shows a substantial weight of 7.065 lb, making this a particularly impressive decorative piece. I would describe the glass as pressed glass rather than cut crystal unless closer examination shows individually cut and polished facets.

Condition: Very good vintage condition from what I can see, with age-appropriate patina and discoloration to the metal and some surface wear/aging to the marble. I don’t see an obvious major chip or crack in these photographs, but inspect the entire scalloped rim carefully because even a tiny rim chip should be disclosed.
