Beautiful vintage Italian pottery dish attributed to Fratelli Fanciullacci of Montelupo, Italy, known for bold hand-painted ceramics and distinctive mid-century designs.
This elongated oval dish features a vibrant yellow ground decorated with stylized floral motifs in deep green, rust red, blue, and cream. The scalloped edge and dark brown glazed reverse give the piece a strong handcrafted look typical of Italian art pottery of the period.
The underside bears a hand-painted stylized FF mark consistent with Fratelli Fanciullacci production, along with additional painted notation.
Measures approximately 9½” long x 5” wide.
Condition: Very good vintage condition with light surface, glaze, and foot-rim wear consistent with age and use. There is some wear/residue on the underside around an old label area. No obvious major cracks or large chips are visible in the photographs. Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the condition description.
A striking piece of collectible mid-century Italian art pottery, perfect for display, a colorful kitchen or dining room, or a collection of Fratelli Fanciullacci ceramics.
