Charming vintage child’s divided feeding bowl in its original aluminum hot-water warming stand, circa 1930s-40s. The cream ceramic bowl has a blue rim band and three sections, decorated with whimsical transfers of a puppy with a ball, a teddy bear holding a balloon, and a mother elephant bathing her baby — sweet nursery imagery. It nests into a mercury-glass-finish aluminum warmer base with butterscotch Bakelite handles and a matching Bakelite-topped screw fill cap for hot water, keeping baby’s food warm at the table. No maker’s marks present. A great display piece or usable vintage nursery item.
