A charming pair of periwinkle blue ceramic salt and pepper shakers in a classic pitcher form with loop handles. Each piece features cream dome lids decorated with a soft pink floral transfer print and a silver luster band at the neck. Bold black Art Deco-style lettering reads SALT and PEPPER. Consistent with Japanese export porcelain of the 1930s–1940s. No maker’s mark — typical of the period, as paper labels were commonly used and have since been lost.

Approximately 4.5” tall. Both lids are integral/non-removable shaker tops. Minor wear to silver luster band consistent with age. No chips or cracks. A sweet addition to a cottage kitchen, Art Deco collection, or vintage tablescape.
