Antique clear glass apothecary/pharmacy bottle with its original cork stopper and wonderful period paper label reading “WINTERGREEN” and Henry M. Smith, Druggist, with a Morristown address appearing to reference Park Place.

The bottle has a rectangular form with beveled/angled shoulders, thick glass base and flared lip. The aged golden-brown pharmacy label has attractive handwritten-style typography and is remarkably intact for its age.

The Park Place reference fits historic Morristown: period material confirms Park Place was an established Morristown commercial address by the 1890s. Based on the bottle construction and label styling, I would conservatively describe this as late 19th to early 20th century, rather than assigning an exact year without additional documentation.

Approximately:

  • 3⅜–3½ inches tall

  • about 1½ inches wide

  • Weight: 2.7 oz

  • Original cork present

  • Appears to retain some old contents/residue; contents are strictly decorative and not for use or consumption

Condition shows expected age-related wear, discoloration and staining to the label and cork, with minor residue/soiling to the glass. The label remains very displayable. I don’t see an obvious major chip or crack in your photos.
