Vintage Mid-Century Studio Pottery Vase – Abstract Textured Glaze

Striking hand-thrown studio pottery vase featuring an expressive abstract surface in rich mustard ochre, charcoal black and creamy white. The heavily textured decoration and irregular glaze create a bold, almost sculptural appearance characteristic of mid-century studio ceramics.

The cylindrical stoneware form shows visible throwing marks to the interior and a faint impressed potter’s mark on the underside, although the maker has not yet been identified. Additional handwritten numbers on the base appear to be an older inventory or collection notation.

Believed to date from approximately the 1960s–1970s.

Measures approximately 5½” tall x 2½” diameter.
