Charming vintage A&P advertising tin issued in 1984 to commemorate the 125th anniversary of The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company, founded in 1859. The colorful rectangular tin features classic A&P and Eight O’Clock Coffee graphics on the lid and a wonderfully detailed reproduction of an A&P Economy Store circa 1912 around the sides.

The underside retains its original informational label describing the development of the A&P Economy Store concept and is marked “Container Made in England.”

A fun piece of grocery-store, coffee, advertising and Americana memorabilia.

Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition with surface wear, scratches, discoloration and areas of oxidation/rust consistent with age and use. Please see photos.
