A wonderful piece of American history — this clear glass bottle is embossed with the phrase “Federal Law Forbids Sale or Re-Use of This Bottle,” a marking required on liquor bottles during and after Prohibition (1920s–1960s) to prevent refilling. The bulbous lower body features a ribbed beehive texture with a band of raised bubbles; the flared lip retains its original cork. Base marked Sherwood, Made in USA. The cork is stuck in the neck. Approximately 9 in tall. 1 lb 4 oz
