A delicate lace mantilla trims the veil, and a cluster of small porcelain flowers sits at the front. Her serene face is hand painted with downcast lashed eyes, gold-accented brows, rosy cheeks, a coral mouth, and dark braided hair. A pink bodice shows at the neckline. The glossy glaze and fine lace detailing make this a lovely, more ornate Madonna for a Marian collection, nursery, or altar.
