A beautiful piece of French porcelain history, this handled cake or serving plate was made by Charles Field Haviland in Limoges, France, circa 1890–1910. The scalloped rim is adorned with a lush wreath of hand-decorated pink chrysanthemums and green foliage, accented with rich gold rococo detailing on the tab handles and gilt edge. White porcelain ground is luminous and bright. A wonderful display piece or functional heirloom for a collector of Limoges or Victorian-era china.
Approx. 10–11” diameter. Light gold wear to handles consistent with age. No chips or cracks noted.
