Charming vintage Florentine-style decorative wall plaque featuring a romantic 18th-century courting scene surrounded by ornate raised ivory and gold scrollwork. The shaped wooden plaque has a beautifully aged gilt finish with a central circular color print depicting an elegantly dressed gentleman, woman and young girl in a pastoral setting.

The gently curved, sculptural shape and hand-finished gold surface are characteristic of mid-century Italian Florentine decorative accessories. A small metal hanger on the reverse allows the plaque to be displayed immediately.
