A charming vintage pair of Goebel Friar Tuck monk-form pieces from West Germany, each incised RX 110 and backstamped with the Full Bee trademark and “by W. Goebel 1956.” Sold as a mismatched cream and sugar set — the two friars are different sculpts (one with dark tonsured hair, one grey and squinting) rather than a matched factory pair, which is part of their charm. Each stands roughly 3.5” tall, hand-painted with the classic brown habit and white rope belt. AS IS — no lids present; condition consistent with age, with light glaze crazing to the interiors. Great for a Goebel or Friar Tuck collector filling out a set, or displayed together as-is.
Condition: AS IS, condition consistent with age. No chips or cracks noted; no lids.
