Vintage German beer stein music box with cast pewter lid, ceramic body, and wood-base music mechanism, decorated with Nürnberg scenes and German text. The stein is marked with the number 79 and shows the classic lidded presentation collectors look for in musical German steins.

Details:

• Ceramic body with raised and painted scenic panels, including Nürnberg and Gänse sammeln text.

• Cast pewter lid with floral/scroll decoration and a hinged metal thumb lift.

• Wood base music box assembly is present; wind-up key is visible.

• This is a non working music stein.

• Handle is cream-toned with molded decoration; overall construction appears traditional and decorative.

• No maker's mark is visible in the photos, so the brand remains unidentified.

• Light wear and tarnish are visible in the photos; size and working status cannot be confirmed from the images.

Made as a decorative drinking stein and musical souvenir piece, this would display well in a German stein collection, bar cabinet, or vintage tabletop vignette. It is a strong fit for collectors of lidded beer steins, Nürnberg souvenirs, and musical ceramic barware.
