Large vintage cedar jewelry or keepsake box featuring richly carved/embossed floral decoration across the lid and front. The lid is accented with an oval pastoral scene depicting figures in a countryside setting, giving the box a romantic mid-century appearance.

The hinged lid opens to reveal an interior mirror and storage area, making it suitable for jewelry, keepsakes, letters, photographs or other treasured objects.

Vintage condition with expected surface scratches, finish wear and small nicks from age and use. The original mirror shows significant age-related desilvering and darkened areas, particularly around the edges, as shown in the photographs. This aging gives the piece a wonderful old dresser-box character but should be considered when purchasing.
