Small vintage emerald-green glass prescription bottle with its original pharmacy label and black screw cap. The label appears to read “The Prescription …” and identifies W. O. LeGrande, Pharmacist, with a South Beach Street, Daytona Beach, Florida address.

The typed prescription information appears to include “Stilbestrol” and “0.5 mg”, although some lettering is faded and should be verified from the original bottle before listing.

Approximately 2½ inches tall based on your ruler photo. Weight is approximately 1.3 oz.

The bottle has a wonderfully authentic old-drugstore appearance, with age toning, fading and wear to the paper label and surface wear to the cap. Green glass appears intact in the photos without obvious chips or cracks.

A nice piece for a collection of:
vintage pharmacy advertising, apothecary bottles, medical memorabilia, Florida/Daytona Beach ephemera, or drugstore collectibles.

Condition: Vintage condition with expected age-related wear. Label is aged, discolored and worn but remains substantially intact and readable. Bottle is being sold strictly as a collectible/display item, not for medicinal use.

Dating

I would tentatively place this around the 1940s–1950s, possibly into the early 1960s. The pharmacy label style, telephone-number format, screw-cap bottle and prescription drug notation all fit that general period.
