Antique silverplate coffee/hot water pot with a classic Victorian pear-shaped body, gently curved spout, and scrolled bamboo-style handle. Domed hinged lid with a finial knob and a scalloped, gadrooned rim where lid meets body. A footed pedestal base. Engraved monogram (appears to be interlocking initials) on the front of the body. Underside bears a maker’s hallmark/stamp — see photos for details, unable to fully identify the mark.
Heavy tarnish and patina throughout consistent with age and silverplate that hasn’t been recently polished; would clean up beautifully with silver polish, or can be left as an atmospheric display piece. No dents noted; hinge and lid function appear intact.
Weighs 21.4 oz. Height approximately 8” to top of finial.
Condition consistent with age — heavy tarnish/patina, monogrammed. AS IS.
