Elegant crystal console bowl in the “Flower Basket” etch by New Martinsville Glass Company, produced 1938–1944. The wide scalloped bowl is etched with a graceful floral spray and basket-of-flowers motif spanning the interior. The bowl rises from a dramatic pressed-glass pedestal foot made up of radiating loop and icicle-form scrolls — a striking sculptural base typical of high-end Depression-era elegant glassware. Approximately 10-11” in diameter (please see ruler photo for exact reference). Clear, uncolored crystal throughout. A lovely centerpiece or fruit bowl for a vintage tablescape.
