Large vintage Louisville/Kentucky stoneware water pitcher featuring a rich cobalt-blue glaze, rounded body, applied handle, flared pouring spout and raised band around the middle. The underside is impressed “232.”

Measures approximately 8½ inches tall and about 7 inches across the opening. Unpacked weight is 4 lb. 4.9 oz.

Vintage condition with numerous glaze pinholes, glaze skips, small areas of glaze loss and surface wear consistent with age and handmade production. There appears to be a thin line near the lower body that should be carefully checked to determine whether it is a hairline crack or only a glaze mark. Please review all photographs.
