The 'Royal Scot' was a famous British express passenger train that ran between London and Glasgow from 1927 to 1964. It was operated by the London, Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS). 

The train's visit to the 'Century of Progress' Exposition in Chicago in 1933 was a significant event, showcasing British engineering and design to an international audience.
