Charming vintage novelty candy container shaped like an antique candlestick telephone, made by Victory Glass Co. of Jeannette, PA. Clear pressed glass body with a raised dial design on the round base, a ribbed glass mouthpiece/speaker cup on top, and a turned wood receiver (earpiece) that hangs from a wire hook, just like the original design. Stands approximately 4.5" tall. These were sold filled with small candy pellets — original paper contents label is still present inside the glass neck opening, though faded and partially legible. AS IS — sold nearly empty, with interior residue candy/staining from age, general surface soiling, and wear to the wood receiver consistent with age and use. A fun piece of mid-century candy container history for collectors of glass candy containers, telephone memorabilia, or Depression-era advertising glass.
