A beautifully matched antique ironstone pitcher and wash basin set, made by the Prospect Hill Pottery Company of Trenton, New Jersey — one of America’s most celebrated 19th-century ceramic manufacturers. Dating to circa 1880–1894, this set was produced during the pottery’s golden years under the Dale & Davis partnership, a period when Trenton rivaled England’s finest potteries in quality and craftsmanship. The pitcher features a graceful scalloped lip, sturdy loop handle, and a soft blue botanical transfer print — a delicate pattern of flowing leaves and florals that wraps elegantly around the body. The matching wash basin carries the same transfer decoration.
