Ribbed/optic vertical pattern runs the length of the body, flaring dramatically from a narrow round base into a wide, undulating tricorn (three-lobed) ruffled rim — the hallmark “swung” technique where the piece is spun/stretched while still hot to elongate the form and create the wavy fan top. No visible maker’s mark, but the form, ribbing, and black amethyst color are consistent with mid-century American glasshouses (Fenton, Imperial, L.E. Smith all produced pieces in this style) — I’d list it as unattributed rather than assign a maker without a mark to confirm.
