A handsome matched pair of cylindrical art pottery vases dressed in a beautiful ivory cream crackle glaze. The vertical ribbed fluting and scalloped rim give these a distinctly architectural presence — think Roman columns reimagined for the American Arts & Crafts and Art Deco moment. The crazing throughout the glaze is original and age-appropriate, lending each piece the quiet dignity of nearly a century of life.
Standing approximately 10–11 inches tall on footed bases, these vases are as versatile as they are striking. Display them together as bookends flanking a mantel arrangement, fill them with dried botanicals or fresh stems, or let them stand alone as sculptural objects. The warm ivory tone works beautifully in both traditional and contemporary interiors.
No visible maker’s mark. Consistent with American art pottery production of the period — possibly McCoy, Hull, Weller, or a similar Ohio-region pottery. Minor age-appropriate wear and crazing. No chips or cracks noted.
