A wonderfully retro early-1970s DYMO Home Labelmaker featuring a bright orange plastic body, rotating character wheel and squeeze-grip embossing mechanism. Model No. 1800, designed for 3/8” DYMO embossing tape.

Especially appealing as a piece of vintage office or home-organization memorabilia, and the original avocado green, red and black display box gives it terrific period character. The box even features illustrations suggesting its “1001 home uses” for everything from telephones and file boxes to plants and golf clubs.

Condition: Labelmaker appears very clean and is housed in its original box. Box shows age-related wear, including creasing, edge wear, small tears and wear around the clear display windows, as shown. I would describe the packaging as good vintage condition rather than mint. Unless you have tested it, I would list the labelmaker as untested.
