Clear glass one-quart milk bottle embossed "Absolutely Pure Milk" with a farmer milking a cow, and on the reverse "Thatcher's Dairy / Bottle Patent 1884 / One Quart." Fitted with its original wire bail closure and white porcelain stopper with cork/rubber gasket ring. The base is marked "Crownford China Co." dating this piece to 1965 — a mid-century reproduction of the original 1880s Thatcher's design, made for decorative and collector use rather than dairy service. Wonderful farmhouse kitchen decor, flower vase, or addition to a milk bottle collection. Stands approximately 10 inches tall.
