Elegant vintage silver-plated serving dish featuring an ornate revolving domed lid, decorative rope-style border, and three beautifully detailed lion-mask legs terminating in paw feet. The fluted dome pivots backward to reveal a removable clear pressed-glass insert with a sparkling geometric pattern.

Traditionally designed as a covered butter dish, this handsome piece also makes a wonderful caviar server, condiment dish, or decorative addition to a vintage table setting.

The silverplate retains an attractive aged patina with surface wear consistent with age. Glass insert is present and fits neatly inside the server. Please see photographs for condition.
