Handsome vintage desk accessory featuring an olive-green stone top, believed to be onyx, with cream-colored veining, a matching oval stone handle, and a brass-tone metal mount. The curved underside holds blotting paper and rocks across handwritten pages to absorb excess ink. An attractive addition to a writing desk, library, or vintage stationery collection.
