Vintage cast iron Scottie dog doorstop/bookend in white paint with a red bow, shown here as a classic decorative utility piece for the home. The form is the familiar West Highland Terrier style with a single perpendicular flange base, and no maker is visible in the photos.

• Cast iron construction with molded Scottie dog profile and upright stance.

• White painted finish with red ribbon bow tied at the neck.

• Single perpendicular flange/base at the back, the key doorstop style feature collectors look for.

• No maker's mark, label, or stamped identification is visible from any angle shown.

• Surface wear is present throughout, including paint loss, scuffs, chips, and dark spotting.

• One doorstop is included, exactly as pictured.

Made to hold a door open, it also works well today as shelf decor, a mantel accent, or a collectible addition to a vintage dog or cast iron display.
