Antique woven wood splint egg-shaped box, hand-painted with a lily of the valley bouquet under a glossy varnish finish. Lined in red fabric, tied closed with a red silk ribbon. Unmarked, maker unknown — consistent with Victorian-era sewing eggs or trinket/candy boxes. Measures approximately 6.5” long.

Condition: AS IS. Box structure is solid and weave is tight. Ribbon has frayed with age — condition consistent with age.
