Antique c1910 Piper Heidsieck 2-Lb Chewing Tobacco Tin Champagne Flavor Litho Original antique Piper Heidsieck “Champagne Flavor” chewing tobacco tin, dating to approximately the 1910s. This uncommon large two-pound size was produced for The American Tobacco Company of Louisville, Kentucky.

The colorful lithographed tin features blue, gold and orange advertising graphics, an illustrated champagne bottle, the slogan “The Height of Good Taste,” and a hinged lid. One end retains part of its original Series of 1910 tax stamp.

The tin is empty and measures approximately 10 inches long. Please use the photographs for the remaining dimensions.

Condition is good for its age, with noticeable surface wear, scratches, paint loss, discoloration, oxidation and losses to the paper tax stamp. The hinged lid opens and closes properly. No tobacco is included. Displays beautifully as early tobacciana, advertising, country-store or general-store décor.
