Charming pair of vintage Royal Copenhagen porcelain figurines from Denmark, depicting a pair of roosters with head lowered as if foraging (#1127). Designed by Christian Thomsen, this pair has been part of Royal Copenhagen's animal figurine line since the 1920s and remains a favorite among collectors of Danish porcelain. Both pieces feature the underglaze finish Royal Copenhagen is known for, with soft white plumage, hand-painted pink combs and wattles, golden beaks and feet, and green-glazed oval bases suggesting grass. Each piece is marked on the underside with the Royal Copenhagen backstamp (three wavy blue lines) and the corresponding model number. Combined weight approximately 0.47 lb.
