Striking Art Deco set of six individual cigarette ashtrays by Farber Bros. of New York, featuring rich amber pressed-glass inserts held in sculptural chrome-plated Krome-Kraft frames. Each approximately 3½ inches in diameter, with a radiating sunburst design in the base and three cigarette rests around the rim. The metal bases are marked “Krome-Kraft, Farber Bros., New York, N.Y., Pat. No. 1,922,401,” dating the design to the 1930s. A wonderful complete set for an Art Deco bar, cocktail table, smoking collection, or repurposed as small trinket, jewelry, condiment, or tea-bag dishes. Good vintage condition with no obvious cracks or major chips visible; the chrome shows expected light scratches, spotting, and surface wear consistent with age.
