Vintage Ken Edwards Collection (attributed) stoneware bowl, hand thrown and hand painted in Tonalá, Mexico. Speckled stone-gray glaze body with a deep cobalt blue rim (Collection series signature look). Interior features a hand-painted sunburst/spiral medallion center surrounded by a floral and leaf border in teal, gold, and cobalt blue, with a small bird motif worked into the vine. Marked “S” on the interior, consistent with Ken Edwards Collection artist marks.
Measures approximately 9” diameter x 3” tall, with a 3.5” unglazed stoneware foot.
Condition consistent with age — AS IS. Please review all photos closely, as they are part of the description. No chips or cracks noted; normal glaze speckling and minor firing variations are part of the handmade nature of this piece, not damage.
